chumley bio

Keith Reichert is a home grown montanan from Billings and one of the co-founders
of MYMK. Also known as "Chumley" he is the bass player for MYMK. On stage he is
known to us as "the dancing bear". Chumley is proficient at covering the bottom end
with either of his custom-made carvin basses in addition to sharing some
background vocal responsibilities. He also plays a little alto and tenor sax on
occasion. Chumley confesses to playing in his first bands in the sixties. He said he
is glad that he took the time to learn music theory a few years ago so he can write
down the structure to some of his original tunes. One of which he co-wrote with BW
about 9/11. Spencer and Dan lay down some awesome tracks on this powerful and
emotional original called Demise. This tune will be on the new MYMK CD to be
released in early 2010.
